Cornelia is the Innovation and Programme Management Adviser in the European Factories of the Future Research Association (EFFRA) – the industry-driven European association promoting the development of innovative production technologies, and the European Commission’s private partner in the “Made in Europe” PPP under Horizon Europe.
Cornelia is an innovation practitioner with >20 years’ experience in the private, public and associative sectors, having previously worked for many years in programmes funded by the World Bank, UNDP and SIDA in such areas as Digital Governance, Open Governance and Social Innovation (2011-2021), developmental Monitoring &Evaluation and RBM in the Energy and Water sectors reform projects (2005-2011), since 2021 working in Brussels, Belgium, in manufacturing industry research, development and innovation programmes.
Her focus is on digital transformation, twin transition, policy and public services modernization, circular economy, human-centric innovation, and tech for development.
