I lead high impact projects that transform people, teams and organizations through analytics, training and consulting. I am driven to see how things change, to learn, grow and help others.
My major skills and accomplishments:
COMPLEX PROJECT MANAGEMENT: I led the Population and Housing Census in Moldova technical assistance: processing, communication and dissemination of census data (based on 4,145,812 questionnaires), which led to a recalculation of Moldova's official population number from 3.5 to 2.68 million residents. Managed nationwide training of 300 trainers and 8600 teachers ($1.5 million budget).
LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT: I designed transformational programs to change organizational culture within 50 teams in IT, financial and real estate sectors. Educated more than 70 future leaders. Trained two generations of Peace Corps volunteers. Assisted in teaching Kellogg School of Management MBA courses.
ORGANIZATIONAL DESIGN: I envisioned a social innovation organization. Engaged in the transformation of UNFPA. Served on the board of civic organizations advising them on achieving best performance.
ANALYTICS AND RESEARCH: I analyzed population dynamics data and trends. Researched Organizational culture and communication - presented results in 2 book chapters, at the Academy of Management Conference and at the European Group for Organizational Studies Colloquium (2013).
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT, CLIENT PURSUIT AND RESOURCE MOBILIZATION: I wrote winning grant proposals: Census data on Disability ($50,000) and Strengthened Participation ($1 million), as well proposals on data, population dynamics and trainings. Persuaded client company's top management to sign more than 50 contracts.
LEADERSHIP: I recruited, motivated and lead a high performing team of 6 high profile international statistics experts, as well as teams of trainers and employees.
RELATIONSHIP BUILDING: I served as a liaison with the UN agencies and the government. Built a strong working relationship with the National Bureau of Statistics as well as with firms that repeatedly procured my services.
